Is there anything I can apply for to keep me going until my housing benefit comes through?

You say you've been refused a crisis loan but that sounds wrong to me as it's the only thing you can get to help out until the Housing Benefit comes through. Go back to the Jobcentre and tell them that you are likely to lose your home if something isn't done soon and refuse to take no for an answer. You also need to go to the council and ask them to fast-track your Housing Benefit because of your circumstances and find out who your local councillor is as they will help you. If you or a member of your family is disabled you are considered vulnerable this should be taken into consideration.
