Is there anything I can do to get my retro check (Social Security Disability)?

Okay, so I applied for, and got SSDI. They told me I'd get my retro check within 90 days, and now its been six months... I think I've been patient enough, and the only thing the people at Social Security office can tell me is that its in the "Payment Center", that is so backlogged they somehow can't even contact the people at that specific "Payment Center". I've tried calling my lawyer to see what he thinks, and he says its out of his hands. I've called dozens of times the Social Security office, and they say they can't do anything. Is there ANYTHING I can do? Thanks in advance.
