What would you do if your computer was stolen and have two options?

gave the police serial numbers in ten days was notified it had been found and no further info. called and found There ws 2 options. 1 could go to the pawn shop and buy my computer. a Reward for the pawn shop. Or could have it seized and taken to a center. The computer would be tagged, then would have to go before the magistrate with doc's to prove ownership to get my computer. There is a large backlog and a bout a years wait. work 8-5 to pay my bills and save for things I really want What would you do?
