U.s visa and admission for m.s 54 backlogs ielts 8.0 about to write gre?

I finished my engineering in eee year with 54%. I had 46 backlogs through out my course. I gave IELTS and got 8.0 . Now i am preparing for gre to get an admission in us. How much should i be able to score in gre to compensate my previous academic performance, so that i can get an admission in better universities if not the worst.
