Can i stay on jobseekers whilst i wait for them to sort my maternity allowance out (sorry added some more info?

hi im not sure abt how the amount etc is calculated but im sure if u are already on jobseekers at the moment then u can stay on jobseekers till they sort out ur maternity allowance.
