How should I best go about clearing up a backlog of quests on WoW?

I am a level 14 Rogue and have recently been getting a lot of quests based around Elywin Forest (hope I spelt that right) Westfall and another place to the East of Elywin Forest. I enjoy doing the quests as each one rewards about 1000 exp., but it seems that hwen I go to complete a quest in Elywin Forest for example, it leads me into another quest in Westfall, which leads me further and further away from some other quests that I have to complete yo the East of Elywin Forest, but the chain of quests doesn't stop, so I have no time to complete the other quests (and even if I did, it would lead me in the other direction)! I was wondering, what is the best way to go a bout clearing all of these linked quests up to have just one set of quests. Is it that I must focus just on one side, forget about the other for the moment and just do those until they stop, or should I do one on one side then one on the other? I am really confused so thanks a ton for answering!
