Would this solution to pedophilia be legal/constitutional?

How about a preventative approach, for anyone who has been or is a pedophile that has not yet been caught give them free treatment and make it publicly known that they can get this treatment but stipulate that if you do not get this treatment prior to being charge with a sex crime you get an automatic life sentence, because failure to get treatment when you know that you have a problem is the same as willfully intending to do the thing which you could have been treated for.
