Is the royal mail doing extra deliveries (near fourth road bridge)?

I started ordering alot from amazon about the summer and everything came two days after dispatch, anyway i know deliveries have been slow lately, anyway I was told that the backlog is now clear and so im assuming the RM are back on track, only problem is by I ordered something that should have arrived today (considering most items are delivered in two days) but it's not arrived, are the RM doing more than one delivery a day to clear the backlog, I live in Inverkeithing near the bridge so round that area really
