Is is possible to connect an expresscard reader via and e-SATA port?

you need the express card plug in slot ...which your laptop doesn't have you eSATA is shared with the USB 2.0 so if you had something plugged into the USB slots you would slow down the eSATA anyway. the paper work for the UAD does mention eSATAs but no mention of any plug adapter..only an accelerator.
