Computer upgrade, am i doing this right?

Your Video Card should work just fine assuming you have 2 open Pci slots, it only plugs into one of them but if you look it requires 2 in order to fit correctly. I would suggest you measure your current power supply and if it is the same size go ahead, otherwise your current one should work fine
